Volker Kraft began decorating an apple tree with painted chicken eggs in 1965 for his child and grandchildren. There are now over 10,000 eggs on the tree and It has become popular with thousands of visitors who come to visit the family garden in Saalfeld, Germany.
Eighteen Easter Eggs are on display at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Created under the guidance of Master Pastry Chef Erich Herbitscheck, the large eggs are handpainted and are all edible, made of modelling chocolate, fondant, sculpted sugar, and royal icing.
